GOT ADVICE?????

I realize that this is not the most eye-catching or professionally "put together" blog on the internet today but I do enjoy it and the fact that so many others have. Now what I need from those of you who have enjoyed reading some of the articles I have written over the passed year or will enjoy reading over the next year is advice, tips, mentoring about not only this blog but the whole genre that this blog represents. I have enjoyed and have been mildly successful in all of my endeavours over the passed year and would like to move forward to "the next level", so to speak and start earning a reasonable and sustainable income using the internet as my tool. So I would appreciate any feedback, tips, advice or ideas on not only, how to improve this blog but on how to earn a full-time income through and with the internet. Once again, thanks for stopping by and hope to hear from you in the future!!!!

Almost a New Year and Have Learned Alot

It has been over a year now and I have learned alot about how to earn money from home just using your computer and a little hard work. I have tried MLM businesses, mystery shopping, surveys, work from home jobs, blogging, paid per click site and direct marketing and although I had success with only a few I have had fun with all.

My first experience was with surveys and I was confident that I could make money with this type of venue. AND...I have. I have had lots of fun along the way and have earned points towards gift cards (which come in handy at Christmas Time!), free products and coupons for discounts on products, cash and entries into many contests. I even won a few. My best achievement in the survey world was that I was invited to a Focus Group and for just an hour of my time I was compensated $75! I will continue to fill out surveys in the new year because it is fun and does help with my family's budget.

My next endeavor was Mystery Shopping. This is my personal favorite. Although it does require both time at the computer and time out of the home I would still classify it as a work form home opportunity. I have been paid anywhere from $4 to $60 to shop, eat in restaurants, go to movies, get my haircut, book appointments online and even visited a police station to ask for directions and was paid $35! I feel for time spent and fun had this is one of the most appealing "jobs" I have found on the internet. I am still sent e-mails daily for companies wanting my services for mystery shopping.

With the success I had achieved in these two areas I started reading on MLM business or direct selling. I joined two companies. The first was Prepaid Legal. They sell prepaid legal packages and protection against identity theft. Although I loved the product and convince it would be an easy sell it was not. In my area there just seemed to be no interest. I had fun but eventually had to resign. The next company I signed up with was Avon. Now I know I could sell this and have. My success has been limited only because my time has been limited but I will continue with this company because the products I love myself and because they are so easy to sell. Just hand out a book and "voila" you have an order!

Next I have worked with two companies who give people like myself the opportunity to work from home seeling products that their clients promote. The first I had high hopes for. The training was extensive and the people were easy to work with but in the end when I had to work my first shift alone the support was not there and unfortunately I had to "let down" a few customers who were interested in the product simply because I had no backup. I tried again on another shift and experience more of the same so I quit. The second company was easier to work for. I received alot of support and good training. The work was easy and enjoyable but when it came to being paid I often had to wait and wait. Coupled with the fact that my shifts kept being cancelled, after two months of working every week I decided it was too nervewracking to work not knowing if I had a full shift or not knowing when I would be paid. Fortunately I have made a few friends in this line of work who are successfully and consistently supporting themselves solely on this type of employement. I have a few leads on reputable companies with both good support and a proven track record and will be applying with these companies in the new year. Stay tuned for further developments.

Lastly I have found another way which to earn money through and with the internet. Paid per click and paid per view websites. I have a few good sites which I have been paid consistently with and a few others which after much hard work have lost my time that I had originally invested because they "disappeared" off the internet. I will continue with these sites and explain in further posts how to get started with this opportunity and the sites which have worked for me.

So all in all I have had a busy year and know that with more organization on my part it will be possible to actually earn an income with these opportunities and to pass along my successes to others in my blog. Thanks to everyone who stopped by this "very amateur" blog and took the time to read. I can't believe I have had almost 500 hits!!!

Time Sure Flies!!!

Wow I can't believe its been that long since my last post. I have started a new business, said goodbye to an existing one and started a new online job. Wow, life gets crazy, I have gotten into more money making venture than I can count by simply utilizing something I love to do anyways, surf the internet.

I realized, shortly after I started Prepaid Legal that it was not going to make money for me. Although I still believe in the product the money I had to invest every month coupled with the fact that my list of "warm market" friends and family was a short one. I quickly ran out of potential clients to "share" this with. Lesson learned. I guess I am not yet a good enough internet marketer to make a business like that work.

However, I did start selling Avon and although it does require alot of running around with a little hard work I can make it work selling to friends and family. Almost everyone I ask about it has heard of "Avon". The commission is good and the products are ones that most can use.

What I am excited and nervous about is my new venture with an actual work at home, paid by the hour job. I started working for telepros, after a short stint with Marketlinc (didn't like the hours) and so far it sounds like a perfect fit. Telepros will provide me with the scripts I am to call to try to produce one qualified lead per shift and in return they pay me an hourly wage of $10/hr plus commissions. I work when all the kids are in school and my wages are directly deposited into my bank account. Different from the kind od work I have been doing but it could just work.

So, all in all things have been busy with this humble blogger but worth it because now I can look forward to more relevant posts to my number one blog "Earn Money and Have Fun".

Busy, Busy, Busy!!

I have just logged in to my pride and joy my own first (and very amateur blog) and realized that it had been quite some time since I have left a new post. I have been so busy finding new programs that I have lost track of the time. Very bad for those who like to read updated blogs.

My latest endeavour is paid to click and sign up sites. I have found quite a few but by far my favourites are

support@quickrewards.net

and 5bux

I have been paid already by these to sites and the pennies ad up quick and they have easy payouts.

The next step for me will be purchasing referrels with my earnings.

Paid per Click Sites

This seems to be a very controversial subject in the make money from home crowd. Some think its the greatest thing since sliced bread while others think its the bottom of the the barrel for legitimate ways to make money off the internet.

I have recently signed up for many of these sites and realize although one will not get rich from "clicking" you can give it a try and with hard work and willingness to not give up you can make a decent "entra" income in this field.

I think and have observed that the key to make money in this area of "pay per click" is in the referels. If you are willing to dedicate the time to posting your links to different forums you will reap the benefits of your hard work.

One thing I have learned is that this is truly a totally "frer" way to make money from the internet.

Another Success (To Prove My Point)!!!

I have noticed that in the passed few weeks my blog has taken the back burner. Which in essence proves the whole reason why I started this blog. Let me explain:

This is a blog dedicated to those who want to work from home. I have been steadily gaining and sharing the new opportunities that have come my way. The opportunities are plentiful indeed, so much so, that I have been having a hard time keeping up with the jobs or contracts, my home and family life and my blog a the same time. Stressful yes, but a good thing. The goal I have set with this blog has more than been exceeded.

In the past few weeks I have taken and completed many new contracts that I have found online. I have done upward of 8 mystery shopping assignments, 4 theater open check assignments and started training for an online remote postion as a live chat contact person for a well known company. I am excited I am making money and I am having the time of my life.

The past two weekends for example I was positioned in my local theater to count patrons, record ticket prices and sales, record show titles and record concession stand prices. For which I was paid a tidy sum of $200.00 and several free shows. Life doesn't get any better than this!

But wait...This week I began training for a live chat person for a well known company. I will be making anywhere from $12.00 to $25.00 just for helping people assess their online security needs. I will receive free training, ongoing support and all this while I sit at my computer in my pyjamas (if I so choose)!!!

Still, there are naysayere out there who say that ANYTHING you find on the internet to earn an income is a scam. I beg to differ.

When It Rains It Pours

As I have been waiting and working at getting my contact list built and appointments made for Prepaid Legal I have been swamped with calls from my mystery shopping companies. This choice I have made is really starting to pay off. I was at the movie theater all weekend doing an open check. Which involves counting the customers, compiling prices and recording shows. I can't believe that I am getting paid for this!!

This week I have three shops to do and this coming weekend I am back at the theater doing another open check. I love it. Not exactly "work at home", more like "work from home" but still is flexible and pays me to do things that are interesting and the perks are great, ie: free movies, free products and free food. When it rains it pours but I am lovin it.
